Lanhydrock

I have just got back from an amazing day out with my little family to Lanhydrock, down in Cornwall.

If you have not been I would highly recommend it.

The house was gorgeous inside and so much to look at.  Our little one did the quiz as she always does at National Trust properties and loved everything.

 

The weather was beautiful and we sat out in the garden and had our picnic, family moments I really love and want so many more.

My favourite had to be the bluebells they were everywhere and the most beautiful blue that unfortunately the camera didn't seem to capture.  I would really love to return later in the summer to see the herbaceous borders when they are in full flower.

The main problem is the little one has decided she would LOVE one of these (a dolls house) now considering I used to own a dolls house (and craft) shop I think we are going to have to make space for one.

Celebrations

Hi everyone

After 59 cards, 5 helium balloons, 3 bunches of flowers, 1 cake, 1 birthday tea, loads of gifts and a shopping trip to Cath Kidston our celebrations are over  

We have had an amazing couple of days. (If you missed previous posts it was my little ones 8th birthday, our 9th wedding anniversary and my birthday all in the space of 2 days).

A little bit of a catch up.

I can't believe it has nearly been 2 months since my last post, how bad am I.  I am busy working away in the background though.  I thought I would share with you some of the things going on.

In March I got asked to make my cousins 21st birthday cake, and like me she loves all things Cath Kidston, I had great fun making this cake (using inspiration from a cake that she saw on pinterest).

I have also been working on and developing a range of personalised cards.

and last but most definitely not least I have started developing a new product of personalised rosettes.

May is a very busy month for us, next week we have the little ones birthday her 8th and our wedding anniversary our 9th (both on the same day) and then the day after is my birthday (not telling you how many).

I am still working on the website hopefully will be launched within the next week along with more new products and designs.

In my last post I mentioned a giveaway, I will be posting that tomorrow =)

Sorry the posts are so short and sweet at the moment, there is so much going on at ElfCrafts HQ.  I am in the process of setting up a new printer so I will be able to offer handmade personalised cards in my shop soon.  

I have completely revamped my blog, what do you think?

I have started pinterest (so you can see a bit more about me and what makes me tick)

I'm also looking into building my own website.........

Loads of exciting things happening at the moment, I will keep you up to date through my blog and also through my facebook page.

In order to get the number shape I just printed the numbers out onto the patterned paper and cut out and then free hand cut the larger pink card stock.
